Yes, there is a sort-of interesting insight into Zumthor's studio. If you've read other books by Zumthor and Pallasmaa, most of this will be very familiar. Thomas Brett is a musician and writer who holds a PhD in ethnomusicology from New York University. Don't get me wrong, I really admire the work of Peter Zumthor and Juhani Pallasmaa, but I didn't find this offered anything particularly new to the question of building atmosphere.
